The Masters of Pharmacy at CCP is a credit based two-year programme with specialization in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.

PHARMACEUTICS:

In this programme, we impart the basic knowledge and train the young M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) students in Molecular Pharmaceutics, Computer Aided Drug Delivery System, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Design of Dosage Form, Cosmeceuticals and Pharmacokinetics etc. Students also carry out individual research projects on contemporary topics in pharmaceutics.

PHARMACOLOGY:

In this specialization, post graduate students have been educated about Principles of Drug Discovery, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Mechanisms of Drug Action, Advances in Pharmacology, Screening of Drug Molecules and Clinical Management of Diseases. Students also carry out individual research project on latest topics in thirst area of pharmacology.

M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Management & Regulatory Affairs)*:

M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Management & Regulatory Affairs) is a two-year degree affiliated to IKGPTU, Jalandhar. A designated Department within a Pharmaceutical Company ensures that the organization is working as per the framed rules and regulations and abiding laws related to drug research/preparation/distribution. So, within the course of this degree, the students are made familiar with the laws, rules, and other terms and conditions that the organization must strictly comply with and follow.

M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice)

This two-year degree program at CCP has been meticulously designed to provide students with exposure to the latest trends that are prevalent as per the pharmacy industry standards. It deals with pharmaceutical practices and aims to inculcate students with related skills. The subjects taught under this program include Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Pharmaceutical Dose Calculations, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, etc.

To secure admission the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in B. Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks.
