CRIKC Nanoscience Day
Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali organized “CRIKC Nanoscience Day” on 8th August, 2016 at IISER-Mohali. The evolution of Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC) has its genesis in the 'Narayan Murthy Report' April 2012, commissioned by Planning Commission on corporate participation in 'higher education'. CRIKC’s Mission is to foster and sustain close academic alliances between institutions of higher education and research in the Chandigarh region, to facilitate innovation and knowledge creation, achieving excellence in all academic spheres.
Prof. Milan K Sanyal from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata delivered the ‘2nd CRIKC-INST Nanoscience Lecture’. Various selected presentations were given by scientists from different CRIKC institutions. The students (Prashant, Parul, Manvi, Manmeet, Rajat, Pallavi, Pankaj and Nishita) and teachers (Mrs Pallavi and Mrs Reema) of Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP) also participated in this event and have brought laurels for our institute by winning first and second prize in poster presentation and appreciation award respectively. This event provided an excellent platform for effective interactions and exchange of ideas between the researchers and scientists from all institutes in the tricity area and nearby places.
