Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP) was established under the aegis of the Society namely Shri Guru Ram Dass Educational Society (Regd.), which has been formed in the memory of Shri Guru Ram Dass Ji, 4th Guru of Sikhism. The Society is dedicated for the providing affordable education to the people of Punjab as well as of other States for social upliftment. CCP came into existence under the leadership of S.Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman & S.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President ,who have dedicated their life to the cause of disseminate education and social upliftment. Chandigarh College of Pharmacy is fully approved by Punjab Government, Punjab Technical University and All India Council of technical Education. We are committed to generating, disseminating and preserving knowledge, and to working hand in hand with others in order to overcome the latest challenges of globalization. The college offers a 4yr. degree course in pharmacy. It is affiliated to Punjab technical University, Jalandhar and is approved by Govt. of Punjab and All India Council of Technical Education. The college has well equipped lecture hall with audio visual aids. The Laboratories have best of the equipments for providing practical training to students. The computer lab has 4 Mbps speed internet connection and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is computerized with a vast collection of books and National & International Journals. The students are also motivated to participate in various extracurricular activities to bring overall personality development. Our students have brought laurels in various sport activities as well as other competitions like quiz,debates, cultural programs etc

Chandigarh College of Pharmacy has a very clear perspective of becoming an academically responsive college of Pharmacy to the requirements of the corporate world. The Institute is proud of its highly competent, committed, well-experienced and qualified core faculty. The students are encouraged to approach faculty members after class hours to get their doubts clarified and difficulties removed. The Institute has a well-established Training & Placement cell which function under the supervision of full-time Training and placement officer. The courses offered by CCP are designed to install innovation, leadership, team work and global focus. The student are exposed to real life unstructured situations so as to provide them the framework, skills and analytical tools to manage in diverse situations. The students also undergo the industrial training during the course. The training is designed to give the students a first hand perspective of the organizations as they live, work and grow. These programs provide an opportunity to the students to work in organizations across the world and bring the learning into the program. We have an Academic Advisory Committee of renowned academicians who advise us in updating the curriculum and making it contemporary to meet the challenges of the ever growing industry of India. Chandigarh College of Pharmacy is known as Hub centre for placement of students in region. We have been arranging Mega Job Festival and joint campus drives inviting a number of leading Multinational and domestic companies to select talent from the region. Of late, Ranbaxy, Cadila Pharma Ltd., Ind-Swift Ltd., Glenmark, US-Vitamins Ltd., Torrent Pharma and Glaxo Smith Kline have selected a number of students from our college. We have also signed a MoU with US-Vitamins Ltd. And Venus Remedies. Education is our religion and quality is our motto’ is the driving force motivating the group to work with total commitment towards excellence in every endeavor. It seeks to develop in each member of the organization the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively and effectively for the betterment of humankind.
